Role: As the
primary point of contact between Database-Guys and our prospective customers, account
sales executives are responsible for achieving established sales objectives
and developing/maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Obtain orders and establish new accounts by
planning and organizing daily work schedule to market Database-Guys products and
services to key executives and managers of companies within an assigned
- Create customer
preference by investigating problems and developing solutions that deliver
breakthrough results and exceed customer expectations.
- Adjust content of
sales presentations/trial plans by identifying potential customer needs/requirements
and aligning Database-Guys product/service offerings to match them.
- Keep management
informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as Weekly Status
and Pipeline Summary reports.
- Provide historical
contact records by updating customer database on a regular basis.
- Monitor competition by
gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products,
merchandising techniques, etc.
- Reinforce Database-Guys
core values with customers and associates.
- Contribute to
team effort by accomplishing team-related results as needed.
- 3-5 years of successful
enterprise software sales experience
- Excellent communication
skills, both verbal and written
- BA/BS or equivalent
- References and employment
history must be provided
- Frequent travel
- Exempt position
- Commission with base
draw for annual quota of $1.2M; variable retroactive commission on all sales
