DGI Celebrates Five Years of Service To DB2 UDB User Community With Special Flight Deck For DB2 Windows Pricing

ROCHESTER, NY - (May 5, 2003) - In celebration of its fifth anniversary, DGI today announced special pricing on its Flight Deck™ for DB2 Universal Database* performance optimization tool for Windows® platforms. Beginning today through June 30, 2003, Flight Deck for DB2 on Windows platforms can be licensed for only $500 per server, regardless of the number of CPUs.

"We bet the farm on DB2 UDB's success in the market back when many companies didn't take DB2 on non-mainframe platforms seriously," said Scott Hayes, DGI's founder and CEO. Hayes added, "Our early embrace of DB2 UDB allowed us to pioneer automated DB2 tuning and file applications for two patents on DB2 UDB performance. And in the last five years many customers in every industry have benefited greatly from DGI's performance methodologies, training, presentations, articles, performance audits, and software performance optimization solutions. With this promotion, we share and celebrate our successes with the DB2 community."

DGI, a New York corporation, was founded May 5, 1998 and has been profitable every year since inception with industry-leading revenue growth every year. DGI products are found in foreign, state, and local governments, higher education, retail, finance, banking, health care, insurance, manufacturing, and other sectors with locations in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, and Sweden.

"Many companies double or triple DB2 UDB performance within hours of DGI product installation, providing instant and measurable ROI," said DGI's President Brian Hunt. "For budget-crunched companies, including state and local governments, this limited time offer provides incredible, instantaneous value for organizations needing to do more business, more quickly, with constrained resources."
